How the draws work

Every giveaway on Keeoto Rewards is free to enter. No purchase is needed, and buying anything changes nothing about your chances.

Who can enter

You must be 18 or older to enter any Keeoto giveaway. By entering you confirm that you are. A winner who turns out to be under 18 forfeits the prize, and it is redrawn.

Tickets

Every task on a giveaway gives tickets in its draw, and each task shows how many: comment, like or repost the giveaway post from the account you saved with us, answer the question, invite a friend. Do as many as you like, in any order. Tasks you can only do once, like following us or joining the Discord, give their tickets in the giveaway where you do them and are not shown to you again.

Tickets belong to the email they were earned with and to that giveaway only; they never move to another giveaway or another person.

The draw

When entries close, the list of tickets is frozen and its fingerprint (a SHA-256 hash) is published. The winning ticket is then picked with a public random number from the drand beacon that did not exist when the list was frozen. Anyone can redo the arithmetic on each giveaway’s Verify page.

The draw picks a ticket, not a person. Before a prize is sent we check the task behind the winning ticket. If it was not done — the comment is not there, the account does not follow — that ticket is void and the draw moves on to the next one. Claiming tasks you did not do can never win. When a giveaway has several prizes, one person can win only one of them.

Claiming

Winners are emailed at the address they entered with. We check the task behind the winning ticket, then the prize itself (a code or a redeem link) goes to that same address in a second email, nothing to claim. A winning ticket whose task was not done is void and the prize is redrawn. Some giveaways let winners take Keeoto balance instead of the prize; the giveaway page shows when, and how much.

Fair play

One email per person, one social account per email. Extra accounts, bots or bought engagement forfeit every ticket of the person involved. Keeoto staff and their households cannot win.
